Publish:

The essential step of compliance with the Directive is to publish your metadata in a searchable form.  Metadata Server is a companion to ArcCatalog that enables metadata to be indexed and published on the Internet.

You can publish your Metadata directly to ArcIMS Metadata Server by:

• Drag and Drop the Metadata Record to a connected Metadata Server
• Copy and Paste the Metadata Record to a connected Metadata Server
• Import from XML

Clients must have access to a Metadata server. (In the absence of having your own Metadata server, please see “How to become INSPIRE compliant” for more details on how you can access our free metadata service)
